The National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopedics (INTO) celebrated its 50th anniversary on September 28, 2023. INTO was established in 1973 to meet the growing demand for traumatology and orthopedic services in Brazil.<\/p>

INTO is an important reference center for traumatology and orthopedics in Brazil. The Institute serves patients from across the country, providing high-complexity services such as bone, joint, and muscle reconstruction surgeries.<\/p>

The institution is also a major center for education and research. INTO offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses as well as training programs for healthcare professionals. Additionally, the Institute conducts innovative research in the field of traumatology and orthopedics.<\/p>

INTO was recognized by the American magazine Newsweek as one of the world’s best hospitals specializing in orthopedics. The institution ranks 39th on the list, which includes 125 hospital units.
